Blower not working

For some reason the Blower on my C180 (w202) isn't working! I only found this out when I collected the car from the MOT test center yesterday. I have checked the fuses all seem Ok, I even checked them with a Multi-meter and All are OK... Is there a common fault that I should be checking before I start tearing the car apart to diagnose the problem?

It's probably down to worn brushes or dead controller.
