Blue Efficiency Badge

Just decided I would like to remove the ‘Blue Efficiency’ badges from the sides of my 2011 w204 C Class Sport. Must be going through an OCD phase! I think the car will look less cluttered.
Anyone know if the badges are just glued on and are there any holes underneath that would require filling and painting?
Also what should I use to remove the glue?
Will use a hairdryer and dental floss to remove them.
Thanks

Don't throw 'em away, you might need to stick them back on when you sell it.

Dental floss + WD40 to remove the glue.
