Hello,

I have very recently bought a 59 plate E220. I have successfully paired my sony experia phone with it via Bluetooth and it works fine to make calls. Once I hang up the phone stays connected to the call and wont disconnect. I ended up switching the Bluetooth off to disconnect and allow audio to work again, got back in the car a day later and the Bluetooth connected back to the call again. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem or if I was doing something wrong when hanging up.

Thank you for any help.

The problem with bluetooth is that there are so many incarnations. Not all phones work as required and even different firmware versions of the same phone can behave differently. Sounds like your phone just isn't compatible.

Follow this link for compatibility advice........

Ah I think your right. My type of experia seems to be the only one that's not in the list, typical that is. Thanks for pointing that out to me, will just have to choose wisely when my upgrade comes through.

Can I ask what Xperia you have? Z2 or Z3? Iv the Bluetooth in my w211 and works perfectly with my iPhone and I'm thinking of upgrading on Friday to the Xperia Z3...so if it doesn't work with Merc Bluetooth then I won't get it

Mines a lesser Xperia L, I'm pretty sure both the Z2 and Z3 were on the compatibility list on the Mercedes website. I'd double check before you get it though.

Not sure if it is too late for -dawg1, but I have a Z3 compact on a 2011 C220, it works mostly except;

The phone [throw app] continually reports disconnection and reconnection.
If you play audio from the phone you just get one song over an over.

The Z3 is on the compatibility list, as is my last phone a moto G, that did not work properly either, don't expect any help from Mercedes, they are pretty clueless.
