writing this sat in in the car for the last few hours pulling my hair out....

been trying to get my mobile to pair up using a sap v2 adaptor.
i have a w203 with the audio 10 head unit. and appears to be fully prewired.

i can get as far as getting to entering the code intot he phone but can only see 12 digits on the display.
can't find how to show the remianing 4. i have read the audio 20 has a clear button. does the audio 10?
i'm at the point of throwing this thing through the window....

before buying it a lot of intial websites i looked at said it would work...

or is there any other ways to get around it?????

It is possible that there is no similar clear button on the Audio 10 since the BT adapter manual does not explain this. If this is the case, take the BT SAP adapter to another car, pair your phone with the adapter at the other car and then reinstall it to your car.

not been able to work this site on my phone so only just got on a computer.

my car is the 2004 and i'm sure the pre facelift.
i did look at the viseeo but a site recommended the Merc sapv2 for the setup i have.

regarding the buttons on the headunit there isn't anything that jumps out as a 'clear' button and i think i've nearly tried them all as well.

even worse when i search for this type of problem they all seem to end with people just saying solved. with no way of actually acheiving it...

on a positive note using the cradle and inserting the sim into it direct works great just a pain swapping sims about.

This is unfortunate. Almost the same the other way around when members at the forum suggest a solution and the one asking help ignores the advice completely.;) Would be nice to have an explanation why the solution is not acceptable (I can think of a few reasons), at lest then we know this option has been considered.

must of missed of the part of not having another car to try setting it up in to transfer it back to mine.
and that might be the only way of doing it. but i can't say for sure until it has been tried

that comment was to state i have been searching how to solve the issue but i haven't come up with any indication of how others have done it. other threads just end with solved or have no conclusive end...
if i get to the bottom of it i would be happy to say how i did it. as no doubt others have been in the same position.
