Good body shop recommendation - In prep for wrap (see elsewhere) I have had a couple of bodywork issues resolved as good as can without spending silly money.

So, yesterday took down to Central Park Body Shop in Winchester - behind the Picador Vauxhall dealership on Easton Lane - they have good online reviews and Harvey at Pitt Lane Classic Car Restoration who do top restorations e.g. E Types/Healeys etc, also said they are good.

James managed to straighten up the alignment of the o/s wing panel (badly re-fitted after it's pre-me Cat D repairs). It was proud of line near top o/s drivers door panel to half way down the adjacent panels, and pinching in next to the headlight cluster. He managed to correct both issues to a very large degree for a very reasonable price without major surgery, Certainly huge improvement!

Also removed the badges (bonnet and boot) intact - Just the Merc flat bonnet emblem and the boot star as no model badging - I was too scared to do so in case broke or damaged bodywork. He even managed not to crack the boot star!

So, all in all can heartily recommend them. If in striking distance (bad word in body shop context perhaps? ;-) ) Do give them a go!
