Boot opening only 10 percent

C class saloon 2015 W205

The electric boot started to play up where every time I try to open it. It only opens 10%. I then have to press the open button multiple times to open the boot then eventually it opens fully

Closing the electric boot is fine, when I press the close button , it closes in one go

The electric boot drive motor has been changed and both the springs have been changed but it’s doing the same thing / issue

Not sure if something needs resetting

Any solution will be highly appreciated

On the 205 estate there's a 'feature' that allows you to set how far the tailgate opens. I forget how this is done, but there's a small chance the saloon is the same and you've activated it by mistake! Check the manual just in case.

There is this option on my saloon W213, but I think it should open more then 10%, even if the option was selected by mistake.
