Hi everyone just brought a boot spoiler for my C250 sport on eBay so I've got to get it painted and fitted had a few quotes £160 and £150 is that about right these days

Seems very expensive! Fitting is just peeling back some double sided tape and applying it. I would expect someone to paint it for £50 £100 max!

Got my genuine MB boot spoiler painted for £80.00 by a top local bodyshop and fitted it myself, was very easy to fit if you lay out masking tape marking points when you 'dry fit' it.

So seems expensive.

Oh if only you'd bought a Taiwanese one, you'd have paid £60, it would be ready painted and ready to fit.

What spoiler is it? What make?

Pictures or link?

Yeah I thought it seemed very expensive I will see if I can find some one else to paint it cos they are only small

MB just quoted me £360 to respray a single W204 bonnet and I thought that was cheap  might get a second quote elsewhere if that quote to spray a spoiler is deemed expensive

Yeah it's bad mb want £160 +vat to paint it my spoiler came yesterday don't no who will spray it now

Clearly a reference to a boomerang.
