Hi

Both our estates were up for the test today, my 210 and the wifes 124 and both passed no problem. Wife rear foglight bulb packed up but was allowed through.

Well chuffed considering the miles on both cars.

Nice result :thumb:

Strangely it was the rear foglight bulb that was picked up on my 124 estate at the last MOT. I thought it was the bulb that had gone but it was just a loose connection.

Good news. I never like MoT time. I try to MoT at the same garage where if need be I'm happy for the work to be done. Which is why I avoid those nationwide franchises.

Hi

The MOT in Northern Ireland is carried out by the DVLNI, we do not have any garage type testing stations.

Glad for you. Was at Balmoral myself on Friday...wife's Rav4 failed

My W202 passed 12 days ago without even an advisory, which im very pleased with because when i bought it this march the previous mot had 11 advisories on it,think that proves my restoration techniques.

My C250D also passed last week after a major engine rebuild from your truly :ban:

It's not an expensive car but the satisfaction you get by putting it all back together again once it's been in a zillion bits over the garage floor leaves you with a big smile :)

Incidentally the rear fog light wasn't working either on one side, took them ages to source a bulb with offset lugs -
