Must admit I do like them too, and I have looked into buying one before, but to get a good late model one is so expensive, not much less than the new price.

Despite what is said in the press about the 2.5, IMO it's actually pretty damn good. OK it's not blistering in a straight line, but the poise and chassis balance is superb.

Can be picked up relatively cheaply now too.

Go on, you know it makes sense!

have n0t had a chance to drive, may go do this weekend. Been offered 17k for the MB from my dealer so may see if i can puersuade them to get one in for me.

i am a bit wary of interior as you are not the only person to say this! however i am in love with the central rev counter

What car did a reliability survey on coupes, convertibles and roadsters recently the SLK and CLK were 4th and 5th with 16.64 and 16.93 claims per 100 cars the Boxster (14th) had 32.90. (Mazda won with 7.74) What Car May 2005 page 362.

Wouldnt consider a boxster unless it was an "S"!

Like the look of the 350Z aswell, be a toss up between that and an s2000 when I get rid of the civic.
