Hey,

My new ML 63AMG arrives in 15 days time, clearly very excited!

A few extras added onto it:
1. Running boards
2. Black wood interior trim
3. Harmon Kardon
4. Reversing camera
5. 21' alloys

I opted not to get the performance package / engine upgrade - I sort of regret it..Sort of.... Anyway I was considering getting a Brabus upgrade instead B63-620 - bringing it up to 600+ BHP. I'm still undecided which is probably why I never went for the base AMG upgrade initially, I just hate the idea of a Porsche cayenne passing me!! Any experiences of these upgrades on New ML's, good/bad or indifferent please do share! Will not having the upgraded brakes be an issue or can the car take it, anything else I should be aware of?

Thanks..

I don't think you will get passed in it anyway they pull like a train. I totally get the upgrade but having tracked one rind rockingham a few weeks ago I am not sure more power would improve the experience unless your just in to drag racing! The one i drove handle really well for it's Size around most of the track including all but the tightest corners where the power and size made it bog down and more grunt wouldn't of helped. On the other hand slow around a corner and 600bhp once you have straightened up aunt the way forward.

Great car you will love it but I would put my extra penny's towards something for the track and stay with stock and be happy in the knowledge that you still won't be passed by the Porsche

Enjoy

Thanks for the response, some good points..
Does not sound its worth the 10K unless I'm drag racing!

Why not just get it remapped you will get close to 650 on that alone.

The Brabus upgrade is covered by warranty and does not void the Mercedes warranty.

but for how long/miles?
