Brake calliper cleaning

Many thanks chaps, will give each a go next time. Can’t say it’s one of my favourite jobs.

It might grow on you, :) i now have a set of wheels i swap in, one set really clean off the car then i put them on and clean the others. Tyres last ages!😁

Unfortunately buddy, they are cast finish so they don't respond well with cleaning, no matter the chemical, the stains are caused by various cleaning chemicals, TFR and alike that etch into the surface.
The only way to completely sort them is by painting buddy.

Thanks Lee, will just try and keep them as clean as I can.

It's a PITA buddy, completely shocked me, such a poor quality finish that you wouldn't expect from MB

Jack each wheel so you can spin them & using a long handled detailing brush clean away. Do consider given them some sort of smooth coating even if its clear, to minimise dust & muck adhering.
