On starting the car this morning, I got a warning message about error on 'stop lights', turns out my brake lights are now permanently on. Any pointers to possible cause?

Sticking brake light switch?

OK, treat me like a 5 years old LOL - where is the switch?

Up by the brake pedal, you may get a better look at it if you drop the lower plastic panel where your knees sit :)

Should be plenty of pictures if you google it, they’re fairly common to go and easy enough to replace.

mmm... was afraid of that - sounds like a job for a proper man!

They just twist into place and have one connector. You won’t need to buy any tools :)

You kinda stumped me at 'lower the panel at your knees' LOL

The plastic panel under the dash - where your knees sit, up above the footwell etc.

Yep, I know which panel, unfortunately, it doesn't look obvious to me on how to remove...

I did this on a family members viano, the panel was held in by a few Torx screws. As Will says, 5 mins tops. Make sure you get a genuine part as we got one from ECP first that didn’t work. :thumb:
