Brakes after 5k miles - c43

I have noticed a light squealing noise when braking recently, I have only just done 5000 miles on my c43. I don't think I have been excessively braking either - I assume the brake pads need changing shortly but just wondering if anyone else has had any issue so early on with their c43?

Squealing doesn't mean brakes need changing. Generally means there is metal sediments left and when in contact it makes a horrible noise. It's generally caused by lot of town driving.
Some people use cooper grease to prevent this.
I'd recommend warming up the brakes, then doing a 3-4 hard/firm stops from 70mph to near standstill. That should re-bed them and stop squealing.
