That's not the only problem, it is getting a real expensive car now :(

But when i drive it i have a very big :D

The cost of the parts ive put on my car is almost 8 times what i mpaid for the car...
Luckily i have done all labour myself, and mostly free parts, or mine would be VERY expensive too :)

I bet you drive 2 with a big smile to meetings and around in your car ;) you have a V12 engine? if so that rulesz ;)

I do drive with a big smile...afraid no V12 engine here...no way it would go in a 190 :o
I have had the user name V12 on forums since i can remember so just always continued...

I have the 300-24v engine and all wiring and ecu's ready to go in from a W124..that'll be fun. 225bhp or so...

Ricky

Do you have any specs on what performance yours does?

The AMG 3.2 M103 did 234hp, whereas the 3.0-24v M104 i'm planning on fitting does 228hp, so will be very similiar...

My engine is modyfied by Thorsten Stadler in Germany and have now 250hp and that's enough for a W201 ;) with automatic transmision it goes fast enough for me with only 1250 kg

Bah, even sissy diesels beat you guys; here's a link to a W201 with more than 400hp on the rear wheels - with a DIESELENGINE!! ;)

Check out "Musta" - and also the teaser video on the middle of the first page... :D

How long wil the car hold it by everyday use?

I have also a turbo kit here when i put that on my engine and modify my engine i wil have over 500 Hp but it wont hold for more then 50.000 km  the faster you make the engine the sorter thelife of it.

and what is 400 HP Nm is important tractor also have 800 Hp and doesn't go faster then 35 KM/u ;)

Shame i don't read german that well.
But those 606 diesel engines are solid ;)

We put one in an old 126 years ago, and that really went well...now giving me ides for my car :)

MBclubNL, the level of tuning can affect the wear and its expected life of an engine, but obviously it's all in relation to how you drive it!

Torque is king!

3.2 AMG 103 engine are with 100.000 KM dead and lose theire power and need to be take apart end rebuild with new parts, as happend in septmber 2003 with my engine :( http://www.mercedesbenzclub.nl/gallery/album80

Sounds very suspect to me... NO car is designed to only last 60,000miles or 100,000KM...

Was your car EVER serviced??

The AMG 3.2 Engine of the 103 engine (150 pieces build) where weak that's why!

En my car get every 7500 km new Castrol RS 10w60 and filter, believe me my car gets bether service then my wife ;)

I am sure you take good care of your engine, but possibly previous owners...not so!

The M103 is a very proven engine, with many racking up mileage past 320,000km, with few problems!

I had a quick scout around for you, and we have a 1988 300TE with 340,000miles or 544,000KM

I know the 3.6 has a higher compression and obviously higher fueling etc, but mercedes are built to last...AMG or not.

Hope none of that offends,
Ricky

I know what you mean 103 is a strong engine i had before a 2.6 with + 300.000 KM and was going well.

I have in Germany friends all with 103 3.2 AMG engine and they all had the same problems when reaching the 100.000 one lasted 128.000 but all started smoking around 90.000 and power lost at 100.000

AMG engine of later models where much stronger then the first ones :( (exept the C43 AMG also big problem car)

Now my engine is completly new and i drive slow with low rpm 2500 until my öl temp is over 80 degrees afther that i wake up my car ;)

I built temp cluster in my car of 16v I believe öl temp is most important to know of your engine for a good and long life ;)
