bulb behind clocks

can anybody tell me how to remove the clocks froma 1995 c class as the bulb behind the speedo has gone and can't see how fast i'm going at night

any help would be appriecated

there are loads of threads similar to what you have asked, easiest way is to remove the undertray below the steering wheel. and push the whole cluster out from behind, BE GENTLE as some parts are delicate ie the instrument glass...

As Raj, you will need to get a couple from MB they are a half turn fit.

You can but on a 95 c class its easier to remove the lower cover under the dash and push the cluster from behind.I have a little howto in my gallery section that might help a bit.

I have seen what happens whe you use them with a bit too much force or in the wrong way, a cracked cluster glass..... oh and how expensive it is to replace......

Pusing it from behind seems like a bit more work but i think its probably the safest way, and i was told that by 2 merc tecnicians, was how it was done on my cluster too...
