buying spare parts

Hi,I am restoring my 280sl pagoda and need to buy several body panels,all very costly,about £3000 worth.I am thinking of going over to the classic centre in Fellbach germany and getting them there as they offer good prices with the euro rate and a 15% discount.
Has anyone done this themselves ,and does anyone need anything I may able to bring back for them
