On startup in early and cold morning, my sat nav screen displays the MB symbol and the wording Mercedes Benz but goes blank and nothing! It seems like it doesn’t like cold mornings!
Anyone else have this problem?

Yes, I’ve come across that a few times. I’m not sure what can be done about it though, best to call your local dealer

It’s a bit annoying first thing in the morning.
I might get it checked out when I can
Thanks
Ken

Not experienced that - just takes ages to start up.

It took some 10mins before it switched on
Also the usb sockets are not working either when the media screen is not working

I am not sure if it is heat related but it seems to be related at the moment

It is slowly annoying me and before I go to MB I want to have some good detailed information before they look at it

So if anyone else experiences this behaviour could you post what the temperature is outside please?

Thanks
Ken

Shouldn't do that. Never had that on mine. I'd take it back to the dealer. Warranty job.

Is the vehicle used each day?

How long is the journey?

I have seen this before on my Range Rover.

Turned out to be the battery not quite fully charged.

So when you started the car there was enough to get going but not enough to power certain electronic bits such as music and sat nav.

Once running the battery would charge then you could use everything.

Thanks for letting me know

Yes daily and about an hour
But that is interesting to know it happened on a different make
Looks like a trip to the mb dealer

Thanks again everyone
