any recommendations ? looking for a rear exhaust box to fit a 95 C 124/220

Apart from a genuine Mb one I like Seibring and Remus. Pricey I agree but a nice refined sound.

The Seibring one I have sounds grunty on my Saloon and the Remus one on the coupe sounds quite refined.

EURO CAR PARTS were supplying Erberspacher [ OEM to MERC] ones till very recently. Excellent quality and a good price with the forum discount. Put one on my coupe in APRIL this year.

Kwik Fit. Got a quote, left it a few weeks, they wrote to me offering a 20% discount, job done and the part was the same one being offered by Euro Car Parts.
