Bit of an odd one…. We have a 1991 300CE-24, the near side front window is inoperative.
I’ve got the door card off as I can hear a click when the switch is pushed (up or down) but no movement. Testing the power to the two terminals delivering power I was expecting to get 12v at one when pushed for up and 12v at the other when pushed for down.
Instead I seem to have permanent 12v to both terminals. With the window leads disconnected I no longer get a click at the door, the click when switch operated now seems to have moved to a relay under the bonnet.
Before I try removing the regulator, anything else I should try?
