Nice car! Use it and the value will plummet, don't use it and whats the point in having it?

Is it possible that as you start to use it all the bushes / seals etc will start to fail as after all, all of the components are quite an age. What about the wiring loom and head gasket, are htye mileage or time dependant failures?
