C180K Coupe Grumble.

Hi Everyone,

I seem to have a bit of a grumbling noise around the area of the Power steering pump and the Alternator. I have sprayed a bit of Wd40 on the shaft of the alternator and the power steering pump but the noise is still there.

Has anyone experienced this noise before. ??

I also have a slight whinning/whistling noise around the supercharger area that increases with acceleration but from what I can see looking through the forum, this seems quite normal.

take the belt off and start the engine if the noise disappears, switch off the engine and spin all the pulleys by hand one at a time you should then feel which one is noisy. Good luck
