My son is after a new C200, preferably petrol and manual in AMG spec.

Initial enquiries suggest nothing available this side of October. Is anyone aware of any dealer stocks?

He'd also consider a CLA and these do seem more readily available, but the manual versions all look low powered. Has anyone any experience of a manual CLA?

Is it a saloon he's after? A C200 petrol manual is probably the least popular variation of C Class, so you'll struggle to find stock. I'll have a look to see if we have anything.

In my honest opinion, I find the CLA180 a bit slow considering how racy it looks

He'd be happy with an auto and/or diesel, but just trying to keep the costs down (although I guess on PCP the difference is not so great due to higher residuals)

There's a difference of about £10 a month between fuels. Not much. I'll be able to get back to you tomorrow. Abroad at the moment, so my colleagues finding out
