Hello!
Just bought that car and have no user manual in it.
Some info I found here in forums about climate control self check.
So, the problem is that REST button (or option) is not working(!), I usually drive with kid and its vitally for me to keep warm interior as long as I can.

Here is how I tried to start it:

1. Engine runs, coolant is about 80°C, I`m in the parking spot ready to jump out. Climate control is AUT +22°C on LCD with max air blow, outside temp is about -2°C
2. Turned ignition key to position OFF and removed.
3. Pushed the REST button...and nothing happened.

What I did wrong???

For the case I wrote the reading after REST button holded(engine cold, not running)
01- 03°C
02- 01°C
03- 09°C
05- 07°C
06- 07°C
07- 02°5(exact printing)
08- 03°C
09- 02°C
10- 205
20- 00
21- 000
22- 000
23- 000
24- 04.6(exact printing)
40- 03
41- 03
42- 26
43- d-C (exact printing...most suspicious)
50- 09°C
51- 17°C
52- -2 10°(exact printing...numbers changed flashing)
54- OFF

Maybe someone who understand those numbers see real problem and its solving.
HELP!!
Thanks in advance!

Still hope to receieve a help ;)

Have you tried it with the ignition key in position 1? Does the indicator lamp in the button light up? Ignition switched on deactivates the Rest function.

Are you sure the system isn't operating? At least my manual says that the AC fan operates "at a lower speed" irrespectively of the fan setting. In any case you should not use it at maximum, the fan would draw a huge current from the battery and the engine heat would not be sufficient (and the pump might not be sufficient, you might get lower air temp if the fan was running at full speed). I guess you only wanted to test at max fan speed.

No, I did not try the ignition key in position 1. I tried the REST button when the ign. key was out or the key was in the position OFF. No light indicated in the button when pressed.

I think that I should try again. Will set low fan speed before turning ignition off maybe that was the cause. Thanks!

Tried in position 1, none light, nothing happened. Fan was at lowest speed. It seems that I need to visit a dealer :(

It should work on all AC fan positions but it would still blow at the lowest speed when REST is active. I was just wondering if you did not notice the fan blowing when expecting higher speed. But the REST indicator "lamp" should turn on and if it does not, then it looks like you have a problem.

I assume you had ignition switched off? On my car the key can be in as long as it is in position 0.

Have you checked from your data card that the car should have the REST option, was just wondering if someone had changed the control unit and had not activated the REST feature by version coding.
