Hello everyone,
I am in the process of purchasing a 2004 C200 Kompressor Coupe, but both driver and passenger door speaker covers (rear of door) have been damaged. Believe this is a common problem caused by seat belts not retracting correctly and becoming trapped when the door closes.
Does anybody know of a source for supply of these covers, how much they cost etc?

Thanks

Thanks Howard

they seem quite a pain to fit - let me know how you get on Blueballs as I'm probably going to do my passenger door one at some point

just replaced one on my w208 - not hard at all to replace, just remove the door panel and then you will see six little clip/washers holding the grill on - pop each one off old grill will fall out put in new grill and replace 6 clips/washers re fit door panel job done.

Part for me direct for MB was a spacial order part and cost £6.85 inc vat.

For the C- coupe, they are not held on by clips- they are hot welded in.
The current joints need to be cut/drilled out & then you will need a soldering iron to form some new 'welds'

Tht explains why they wouldnt come off when i was pulling at them and trying to wedge them off with a flathead screwdriver lol

Sorry to steel the post - does anyone know where i can get a speaker for a vito van? Been to my scrappy - he don't have one :-(

I have got the box with the part number on for the C Class Coupe door speaker at home and will post it tomorrow if it helps. The garage that I have just bought it from has just replaced the drivers door one (after cracking the first replacement they put on!)
Very common occurence apparently. I was told it was about £12.
