The boot floor carpet in my 2009 C207 is a saggy mess from where a previous owner put something really heavy in there but it also seems due to no supports.

My carpet literally rests slight on the side panels either side, but there's nothing supporting the rest of it.

I measured the gap between the spare wheel tool kit and the height of the mat and there's about 60mm gap.

So am I missing some supports somewhere, and if so what and where do they gol?

I've attached a picture.

There should be a solid cover that sits over the top of the spare wheel.

I don't know the part number for the c207 but here's what I have in my 2012 a207.

I can't see why it would be different as your wheel well looks the same except mine has lots of electronics for the roof where you have the space on the right hand side of the wheel well.

Ah, I have that part (A2076800342 for a C207), it's the part that is damaged as there is no support between it and the spare wheel, just a 60mm gap. So anything heavy in the boot and it collapses, further damaging it's edges.

Hence I was wondering if there should be a something that maybe goes between the spare wheel and the carpet panel to add support? If not I might just knock something up in CAD and 3D print them.

Oh I see. Well that's all I have in mine and it's quite capable of taking a decent weight.

Previous owner must have put something really heavy on it!

I got the car from a builder mate that only bought it to use for a few months whilst his work pickup truck was away having a V8 fitted, so that explains things.

I'll keep an eye out for a replacement carpet panel.
