C220/270cdi gearbox

Are they the same? the casing looks the same , is the internal and gearing the same? will it work on a c270?

The best thing to do is to compare part numbers at the dealers, i would guess that the box would physically fit but possibly the ratios might be different and the conductor plate might need to be swapped .............but, who knows?

After all the above, surely far easier to locate the correct box for your car.

The torque converter will probably be different but as Panasonic said try and get the same box.
