C220 - Location of Aerial ?

Hi, wondering if someone can help me with what is (hopefully !) a simple question.

I have a 2005 C220 Saloon, and I'd like to find out where the antenna is for picking up radio signals. There is no external aerial anywhere, so presumably its incorporated into the exterior or a window somewhere ?

When I first got my SLK I too wondered where the aerial was. Took me ages to find out.

And it isn't in the rear window as that wouldn't be much use with the roof down.

Out of interest, where is it on the SLK?

Pretty easy to find on my R129 ... it's the big telescopic thing that rises up from the rear wing when you turn the stereo on! The phone aerial is on the top of the windscreen though.

Vertical bits in the rear window....

If the rear wind screen was to ever be replaced at some point i.e. smashed then this would cause servere reception problems on the radio (especially if non OEM MB glass was to be used...)
