c220 TDI Loosing Power

C220 tdi lck to the ukoosing power.
Im drivng along and every now and again she looses power and wont go over 45mph, the revs wont go higher than 2.000 and im supposed to be driving back to the UK tomorrow.

Now she doesnt go back to normal she is stuck it seems at 40 mph..

can anyone advise me, could it be electrical as there is no smell?
does the battery need changing and could this affect power?

I would say you need to get a star plugged in and if you have got breakdown insurance give them a ring.
Has it done this before?

220cdi power loss

it sounds like limp mode have you any warning lights showing, any rough idle ?

can you give any more details of your car, age/mileage/year of manufacture as it could be the MAF sensor
