My W205 (2014) with 60.000 miles is presenting a Adblue warning + Check Engine Light.

First to appear was the Check Engine Light:
- No safe mode, drives normally. No idea what happen!

One day later:
- Low Adblue level warning ⚠
This is strange because the car had all maintenance done at Mercedes and only drove 5.000 miles since the last service.
(I was expecting a top-up to be done)

In order to fix the first problem, I bought from halfords a 10L Adblue container.
I was only able to put in 2L... It overflows and drops the Adblue liquid to the floor!
This seems to indicate the Adblue warning ⚠ is incorrect!?!?

I've tried to reach mercedes servicing by email... no reply.
Also tried a mercedes specialist in the area that replied... but unable to help because garage is closed.

While I try to get this fixed... any similar experiences/recomendations?

(I'm volunteering to source materiais and distribute PPE in my area, I have a authorisation that allows me to drive)

It needs to be plugged in.

We have had a few of these in the past. Some needed Nox sensors, some needed the adblue pump, some just software updates and one needed a complete adblue tank. They are not easy to diagnose accurately first time either. Frankly they are a pain.

Called MB customer services and they sent road side assistance, diagnose report:
"CDI - P229F09 NOx sensor 2 (cylinder bank 1) has a malfunction. There is a component fault.
Requires NOx sensor downstream of SCR catalytic converter to be replaced
Requires workshop attention to replace 1 or both sensors"

Repair is schedule a week from today at MB (were I bought the car).

The low level Adblue warning is an error, don't buy Adblue because even if the tank is full, the warning is still displayed.
(waste of money and Adblue)

[update]

Feedback from Mercedes: Car is fine, only needed a reset due to the low adblue warning.

What I know:
- Adblue was never low (simply did not happen) and to confirm it: Mercedes only added 2 litres
- I have the report from MB customer services indicating the Nox sensors arefaulty... but that is not considered now because there are no errors in the memory.

I was told to drive the car normally, but I know it will happen again and I might be stranded on the side of the road.

The problem is the add-blue injector on exhaust pipe where the add blue has crystallized an blocked injector.
Take off an clean.
I've a 2015 c250 w205 with 53,500 on clock an that was my problem.sorted now.
New injector is around £270.
