c220cdi injector stuck!

One of the injector seals has failed. Other posts suggest a copper washer may have failed.
The area is covered in brittle tar. I have cleaned this off exposing the allen screw and slackened off. How do you remove the injector? It seems well and truly stuck.

The injectors just push in and are clamped in place.
It's common for them to stick.
Get the engine hot and then use a small slige hammer on teh injector. Be careful they can snap if excessive force is used.
