Hi,

I'll keep my first post brief.

Considering purchasing an saloon in the next few months to replace my current car.

I've been looking at the W204 but I cannot find any reference to the service intervals can any one confirm if fixed or variable in either case whats the average distance between servicing.

Final question for my first post anyone that's got one and the folding seats will it be any good for putting my mountain bike in the boot.

Thanks

Thanks for Welcome,

IMHO that is not my favourite colour combo of the loan car you had there is one in the used market in that red and it's not really my thing.

I would go for the grey with black leather at the moment. So no poo colour interior it does even from that picture look "special".

I had a E90 330d Manual last year but sold it for various reasons and currently have a Golf GT TDI and want to get back to something nicer and more grown up, I am not keen on the image of Audi and so don't want another BMW i've had a few, the passat is very rep like which leaves a Merc I've never had one but did recently rent for the weekend a SLK 200 which was lovely, and the new C-Class Sport looks great hoping to see one in the flesh tomorrow.

I thought servicing on all MB's changed to fixed interval a couple of years ago? So I would expect the service interval to be 1yr or 15000 miles, whichever is first.

1yr or 15k is fine I will ask the dealer but that for me is plenty.

Thanks for all the quick answers, and apologies it anyone clicked on the thread expecting pictures :) If I get one they will come.

All MB's are still on a variable servicing system.
That's odd - DC-UK certainly said (in the press) that they were going to move to fixed interval servicing. My dealer also wrote to me and told me this had happened and offered me the option of moving my car to fixed interval (err.. no thanks).

So I wonder where the disconnect is?

At the moment I am not 100% convinced the saloon is going to be practical for my mountain biking the apeture for when the seats would folded don't look very high and I reckon it might be a faff to load and unload. I need to go look at a demo with split fold and take a bike along to try,.
