C240 auto reverse switch removal

How do you remove the switch from the gear selector? is this a DIY job & does anyone know how much a new switch is. I have to giggle the selector to get the lights to come on.

jiggle it instead,might get better result.ha.ha........sorry

Hi,
The reverse light switch is an intergral part of the gear selector mechanism, you maybe able able to take it apart to clean the contacts.
