C250td misfire/splutter

Took my C250td out today went half a mile to the local shop. Stopped for 5mins or so.
Back into the car started fine & had been running fine up till the point on the main road accelerating from 20mph it seemed to develop a misfire/splutter.
Altering the throttle position didn't change the miss (but did change the engine rpm). Next thing gone & back to normal.

I drove it round for a while & all seemed fine.

It hasn't been used much (at all really apart from being shunted in & out of the driveway) for the last 4 or 5 days.

It sometimes gets left for longer with no problems.

Any ideas? If there is something that’s failing/going to fail I’d rather get it fixed before it does.
 
Either an air leak or sticky stop solenoid.
 
I'd guessed at either air or maybe dodgy (stuck) injector.
I can see a small amount of air entering pump but only occasional bubble.
I will have a closer look when I get time.
 
Doubtful to be a stuck injector, if it was there would be clouds of smoke as it wouldn't stick closed.
 
Check the connections from the filter. These are the clear plastic hoses that are retained by plastic clips.You can replace the 'O' rings at either end of the hose but it is simpler to replace complete hose(s)
