c270 cdi upgrade questions

Yes the 2359 will give you more air, and with more fuel, more power. No there's a few to choose from (within the Cdi range) however the 2359 probably is the best value for money and easy to get. A custom map by someone who really understands Cdi's would be night and day. I'd seriously doubt it's 210bhp at the minute.
 
I can see plenty of gt23 turbos on eBay from the 320cdi, but very few gt2359v, are they the same turbo, I know I need the vacuum operated turbo, rather than electronic activated, just don't want to make a mistake
 
Yes that’s it, one from a w210 will be vacuum. I think the part no is A6130960299 but I’d have to double check. They say GT23V on the tag.
 
Managed to get one for £50 on eBay apparently 89k, should I just fit it or rebuild?
 
Is there much play in the shaft or any visible damaged to the propellor? I’d just put it on as if not.

What’s the plan for anything else? Without mapping to suit I don’t think you’ll notice much difference.

I intend to get AMG injectors, and map sensor, I would like an upgraded intercooler, but I don't think there is much room on a c class
 
well i have been doing a bit of research into the AMG injectors specs to my 270 cdi, as i was told it is not a straight swap for the AMG nozzles, the only other difference in part numbers are the copper sealing ring and the protective cap on top of the injector, so i will give it a go when i get the parts
 
602 is just a cap to stop dirt going in the top of the injector when new or reconditioned

750 is just the copper washer used to seal the injector on the head.

I thought that, but guys are telling me the AMG injectors are different apart from the nozzles, I can't see the difference
 
Hi Dubburke,

Still intrigued to see how you got on. Did the turbo actually need remapping off the bat or did it run OK with your current tune?

Also, did it bolt in OK?

Amg injector number 602 and 750 are only differences
