Hi everyone,
My 2001 Mercedes C320 Gearbox sometimes hesitates for a fraction when I shift between neutral and drive when I stop for traffic lights, road junctions and alike, is this normal?

I had that on my old C320, an ATF change & a Gearbox reset fixed it.

Just check if it's had an ATF change if not then book it for gearbox service.

Why on earth would you put it in neutral whilst stopped at the traffic lights.

That is why it is an auto box - leave it i drive and drive it:bannana:

+1

I have never used the neutral selection in the gearbox.

I always use my Neutral mode when I'm stuck in traffic,it saves fuel as u can actually hear the engine idle rev speed decrease. Putting it in P wouldn't make sense either. The N selection is there for a reason guys

Top banana!

But its important to makesure the gear is changed back to D before moving, for those (like me) who are not used to doing that..

Yes, it us, for towing the car (at low speed)

Hi,
When you say reset, what do you mean?
