C350e hybrid battery

That seems like good advice from Markjay. I would wonder though if a battery change is necessary anytime soon. From my experience 6 miles real world range this time of year (even when driving very carefully) is pretty much what the rest of us get.

Thanks for that sound feedback,at least for now I can rest assured that the car is behaving pretty much normal then.

Screen shows 13 but real world range 6

Have you asked your dealer to check the current high voltage battery capacity? The diagnosis tool states that 70% remaining capacity is acceptable, I assume this should be the warranty figure too (battery should be replaced under warranty if capacity lower than 70%). I just wonder if the workshop lets you see the real figures from the car.

Rang up my local MB who said they don’t do random health checks on the hybrid batteries, only if some malfunction message flags up,otherwise if I so wish I could go ahead and pay for the diagnostics knowing fully well that nothing will be found.

Would not need any random checks. The battery capacity figure is there when they read codes anyway (hopefully do, I'm sure they charge you at least). A very accurate capacity figure would need a specific charge cycle though (can do at home). They would probably report "fine" in any case.

I wonder, will it show on iCarsoft/Carly? Or does it require STAR?

Is there anyone who has owned this car C350e for some time and done plus 60,80,100K miles and what their overall experiences have been, repairs, etc?
