I wonder how long it will be before someone actually bids for this before realising its a bolt found in the boot thats forsale

But after reading his feedback it does actually say that someone did bid for a rusty bolt not long ago

No its just a way of advertising the parts that are for sale in the hope people will enquire.

Good ideal I would say.

C36 "THE CAR IS BLACK AND IS THE EXACT ONE IN THE PICTURE"

Why would you break a perfect C36...unless it was stolen?

C180... why picture a LHD car if the one you're breaking is RHD? Why not picture the actual damaged car....unless it was stolen?

Maybe I'm being cynical but I would not buy used parts if I thought there was a chance they were from a stolen car. I'd hate to think that my car could be stolen, broken in some traveller's camp and the parts sold on e-bay.

You have to wonder about most of the later model cars advertised being broken up on ebay, other than the ones obviously being offered by genuine breakers yards...

I emailed a seller who has a C180 listed as breaking for spares.
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/MERCEDES-C180...601149003QQcategoryZ10398QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

I asked him how much he wanted for the boot lamp
(I managed to break one of the lugs off mine trying to get it back into the side trim :o :( ).
He responded with a price of £12.50 including postage   . Needless to say I think the dealers would be cheaper!

Plenty of people don't realise how cheap some Mercedes parts are, especially compared with parts for Japanese cars and Jaguars or Audis...

I agree although I bet there is as much money in breaking one than selling when you look at the prices they are fetching.

Exact car in the picture eh  Here is the original source of the picture

The seller's a liar :o :D

strange,, nearly every ad on ebay for m.b.'s,, the advertiser's linguistic skill's leave a lot to be desired,, is this a cause and effect of m.b. ownership,,

i hoped nwt,, oh god,, it's started,!!
