C43 Air Filter Removal

How do you check the filters. Is it just mine the screws seem to be in from the underside so you would need an l shape scredriver to get at them. Am I missing something obvious or is this the only way to get at them??

That's correct. You have to undo those screws, there quite a few of them if i remember! But don't worry about losing them as they don't come out all the way.

You can just pull of the air cleaner box by lifting it up, just held in by these U type clips.
