I have been researching the web trying to find out why my 'OEM' replacement headlight (halogen not xenon) is a different color (amber) than the original blueish tint (identical bulbs).
The lens was shattered by a rock and the insurance co was responsible to replace it. They ASSURED me it would be a reconditioned original MB light. Was not...no MB logo or sticker as its counterpart has. It is not a BOSCH.
Can anyone confirm that the C43 spec was Bosch and only Bosch. The 'new' light is from Czech Republic??? I swapped the bulbs (exact duplicates) of course; and there was no change...I think the color diff is due to glass lens material.
I posted this as a 'response' in a different thread that I presume is closed as no reply was posted. So please forgive the duplication.
Thanks for any help!
