I have seen the C43 black wheelarch eyebrows on other W202 models with AMG wheels - how much are they & do they just stick on?

everyone i know has taken them off, i think they only look good on a black car as you cant easily colour code them.

also arent cheap if i remmeber right

They are just glued on! or double sided tape iirc...

Yeah double sided sticky stuff. Horrid. Mine went in the skip.

still not worth putting them on in my opinion, car actually looks better without them, smoother look, it took me loosing one before i took them off! The AMG, or AMG wheel(factory) installed models had these as it was suppossed to protect against stonechips.

I thought they were just wheel arch extensions to cope with the wider tyres.

def for the stonechips and water splash, adds a centimeter width, but doesnt add any sort of additional clearance as its stuck onto the original arch. literally a rubber strip!

just checked my gallary pics, and they show them clearly on the car!

They are just "AMG" priced bits of rubber - £45 each - last time I checked.
Mine came with the car, but I'm tempted to remove them.

Would have put them on Ebay if I had know that.

Hi

I had them on mt silver c230K and thought they were good looking a few people even asked where they could get them etc.

Personal opinion i suppose.

To be honest I never knew the eyebrows were "AMG" until I had the bonnet replaced and the wings blended in. I was going over the quote and asked what these "extra" bits were at £45 (or so) each. I now have 2 on and 2 off (never took the rear ones off - lazy). Car looks better without them. I still have the old two in the boot.

C43 Wheel Arch Moulding / Arch Black Trim

I know this is rather an old thread, but if you come across this, and actually have a Black C-Class C43 Rear Arch Trim, I would appreciate if you would get in touch. I need one, but they are "genuine only" and cost £50!
If you have an unwanted one, please get in touch: 07092 214851 and leave a message.

Thanks in advance.

Does anyone have a picture of these wheel trims?

Oh okay that's weird, I have never seen them before! Is it an AMG part no?

It does not look like they are on any of these c43's

Someone did a VIN check on my car and this is what I think they are referring to. Theres nothing else that looks like it is mentioning the "brows".

Those C43s are all USA models, it is possible the USA models were never fitted with this option. Bear in mind that it is supposed to reduce spray from the wide tyres - in the USA you can have totally exposed wheels with no arches at all if you want ;)

They were definelty an official mod - my old c230k had some amg extras which included the "brows" when first bought.
