C43

It'd have to be manual to be a proper track car unfortunately... :(. I really like that leather though... but that damage on the chassis bit inside the boot looks... bad :(

I have a friend who is in the vehicle trade in Kent...this car was bought at auction for £1,200.

Sounds like the buyer got a bargain! Still worth quite a bit more than that, as the bidding shows :o

was it at universal?

As of 00:23 it's £2,651, that's too much for a cat-c totalled C43 IMHO!

Having just ended at 4.5k can we assume that the financial crisis is over?

Perhaps the days of folks paying 100k for a rusty old e type jag are about to return.

Having paid 3.1k for a cat d c43 with a w211 55 kompressor engine shoehorned into it I think someone has a sense of humour?

22 bidders on a car that would usually see 3 or 4, someones been taken for a ride me thinks.

It's probably worth around £2k, esp in the current economic climate.

You can have undamaged C43's for £3495 as I remember...

typical case of ebayers getting a bit too excited when bidding, and loosing track of real prices!
