Car had been into dealers for warranty work where the front bumper had to be removed.
When I collected the car the front bumper is misaligned on the near side where it meets the bonnet in the headlight area and on the offside where it meets the wing. I am being told that the brackets are fixed and the alignment is within manufacturing tolerance. I have before after photos. Thoughts?

I would ask them to try a bit harder. The fact that it is within tolerance is immaterial. The bumper is clearly capable of being fitted better as per your photograph. The bumper hasn’t changed and as they say the brackets are ‘fixed’. So can you please try a bit harder to fit the bumper on my very nice, very expensive car or next time I will by an M4. Thank you very much.

The top of the bumper where it meets the bonnet most certainly are adjustable. If you open the bonnet and look you’ll see the screws and the adjustment points.

Hi , my concern would be that when you decide to sell the car a buyer would claim is been in an accident.

I hate dealers who say it's within tollorance !

His tolerance, not yours, you want it back as you gave it to them. Great you had the pictures. Take it back!

Seriously, what's happened to pride in the job ?
Even to a non-expert, that isn't even close to where it needs to be.
Irrational maybe, but one of the few things that comprehensively winds me up is the "F*** it, that'll do" mentality.

I have the same issue on my 2016 c250 i doubled check with main dealers before buying to make sure car was defo not in an accident
