Car has been standing for some time,
Took for a spin yesterday and amber traction control/abs lights come on ??
Parked, waited and they went off for about 10m, removed battery and refitted, off again.
Any advice ?
flags amber and system inoperative

Long drive isn’t a option as we are still in lockdown ☹️ I will pop it on charge cheers

I had similar when on tour last year in Spain with an interior light left on overnight, drove 50 miles the next day still the same but after the next 50 miles back to normal and no problems since. I understand you cant do a long drive as we are in even stricter lockdown in Scotland than you in Wales

Either weak battery or dodgy ABS sensor

Just had this myself on my C63, ABS Inoperative message & amber ABS & Traction control lights, has been diagnosed as an osf wheel speed sensor.

we are doing wheel speed sensors on 204's and 171's daily at the moment. I think MB have run out of them.

Did you also get the message displayed "Inoperative - See owners manual"?

I had the same come up today so possibly ABS/Speed sensor - Definitely getting a scanner for the codes, ordered the iCarsoft i980

That unit now replaced by the MB V1.0 tool so going to use that today to have a look at the codes

Disconnected battery and lights disappeared for some time and now on again, but noticed air con not working now either

When I had that on a C63 I once owned, its was the ABS pump which needed replaced.

Just put it on a code reader and it came up with
Drivers side front signal actuator

Any way of testing sensor ? Any specific sensor for different things ??

My Scanner is iCarsoft MB 1.0 and it shows me that the right front (Offside) RPM Sensor is not sending a signal. That would make sense as the Left front went back in Feb. and as they will be the same age - Bingo!
