Hi, I've had my C63 AMG for a few months now and personally it's the best car I've had the pleasure off owning:cool:. I finally got a few days too myself last week so thought it would be rude not too get the Rupes polisher out too remove a few light swirls that have been annoying me. Hope you's like it and thanks for taking the time too look at my thread.:thumb:

HAVE ALSO FITTED THE FOLLOWING FEW BITS (no pictures at the moment:doh:)
507 GEAR KNOB & GAITOR
AMG STEERING WHEEL TRIM
MACARBON RED PUSH START BUTTON
BRABUS RACE PADDLES
BMC AIR FILTERS

Very nicely detailed.
Not sure about the front grill 'AMG' badge though....
Too many AMGs badges around the car in my opinion. 1 on each side, front and back...

Looks good that and some good work too!

Black is such an awesome colour when cleaned and detailed. I'm slightly tempted by it for my next car but not sure I'd find it disheartening when it inevitably shows up the swirls let alone dirt.

Either way, good stuff OP. :)

Thanks lads for the feedback, it's appreciated. Am trying not too modify this car too much as its a slippery slope (had a 550bhp Evo IX and it was a money pit). If anyone is interested in the rear spoiler the same as mine(RW CARBON DTM REAR SPOILER)? A mate bought one shortly after me as he said the quality was excellent but he now wants too trade in his C63 for the new C63s, so his DTM rear spoiler is possibly up for sale. It cost him roughly £385 delivered after import duty, etc. £350 delivered.:thumb:

I forgot too add that the mates rear DTM spoiler is for the coupe and NOT for the saloon. :thumb:

What are you guys using to clean the exhaust pipes?

I use autosol on mine. 00000grwde wirewool is good for cleaning the heavy crud off prior to cleaning

I personally wouldnt use any sort off wire wool on the C63 exhaust tips as there chrome plated.

They're stainless steel, not chrome plated I think. Same result though, wire wool would just scratch. If they're dirty, Autosol and a rag will bring them back.

0000 grade wire wool doesn't scratch at all. You can use it on glass.
It brings up the exhausts lovely with Autosol. Been doing it for years.

I second this, 0000 is so fine it won't scratch at all. I've used it with compounding liquid when at a pinch and it brings up the exhausts beautifully.

Apply some decent high temperature sealant and your exhaust tips will look better than new.

Is the grade 0000 wire wool and autosol still best to clean c63 exhaust tips?
