Having a read through the forums and found a few posts but could someone pls confirm what mapping and exhaust options are available for the C63.

I understand the C63 only runs 80-90% throttle or something and a map will release 50-60bhp and torque?

On exhaust side, is it is just a cat by-pass that I I should consider?

Anything else I should be looking at and considering?

On a standard car (450) bhp then a re map will release 50-60 bhp. Personally I would only touch a Eurocharged or. Weistec map.

Exhaust wise you could do a cat delete but what is your aim. I just had the IPE exhaust fitted which means you can flick between loud and quiet on the touch of a button.

If the car does not have a LSD then that should definitely be on the list.

The real question is how far and how much money do you want to spend.
Weistec supercharged?
Long tube headers ( 4 branch manifold)
The list is endless.

Speak with Acid at MSL and he can advise on costs etc

Thanks Lee.

Just looking to releas some more power, so will prob just look at a map. Not too interested in a full exhaust system or replacing the headers, so will prob just go with a cat delete.

Any idea on costs for the map and cat by-pass?

Will give the guys at MSL a shout.

Don't buy a cat delete pipe get it fabricated so that the exhaust sits straight.
Imran at MSL is the man oft fabricating a X pipe.

I am sure Acid can sort you out with a good deal for a map and delete.

Ha ha I give you a couple of months before the tuning bug bites......I remember thinking I am not going to do much with the car.........

Again I thought the exact same as lee that 500+ bhp was enough and it wasn't.

Have a good think Chris, if you think that you may do more to the car just skip the little mods and go straight for the bigger ones :thumb:
