<div class="bbWrapper">Hi All,<br /> <br /> I picked up a 2009 C63 the other day and noticed the original build sheet states option 788 - 19&quot; Multi Spoke, however my car now has a 18&quot; staggered set.<br /> <br /> Does anyone have an image of the wheels linked to option 788?<br /> Are they known as 'Turbine' alloys?<br /> <br /> TIA</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">It would have been these.<br /> <br /> <script class="js-extraPhrases" type="application/json"> { "lightbox_close": "Close", "lightbox_next": "Next", "lightbox_previous": "Previous", "lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. <div class="bbWrapper">Also, those set of alloys when I had PPP cars are prone to cracking so you might be better off with the 18's.<br /> <br /> I cracked a full set of 19's and had too shell out more ££ for a new genuine set.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">I don't know the answer to your question, but just to say that the Datacard codes and the descriptions are stored in two different places... the codes are always correct, but the descriptions are sometimes wrong.<br /> <br /> The Datacard code for my alloys (not AMG) has not changed throughout my ownership of the W204, however for about a year in 2018 it was showing the wrong description, and recently it went back to the correct description... so the code might be right while the description might be wrong.<br /> <br /> (But of course it is also possible that someone changed the original wheels at some point in the car's history)</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">Thanks for all the info!<br /> I do like the look of those wheels and would not have expected them to crack so easily.<br /> <br /> I guess 18s give a softer ride and cheaper on the tyre budget too.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">19&quot; AMG alloys are made of cheese. Couple that with the state of UK roads and cracking is almost inevitable at some point.</div>

With those wheels on a C63 is driving on digestive biscuits.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">When I bought mine I specifically looked for cars without the brittle 19s. Granted they look awesome but are weak as anything and dont ride as nice as the 18s on a daily car. I'd stick with 18s.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">My 204 has the 18&quot; from the 205 C63</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">Just to add another viewpoint, I have the 19&quot; multi spoke alloys and have had zero issues with cracking over my 7 years of ownership.</div>

<div class="bbWrapper">I had the 19s above for a number of years. They didn't loose pressure, but the two rears had to be welded due to cracking, when refurbed.<br /> <br /> No big deal and probably good for another 8 years or more!</div>

Will be moving up to 265R when next in need of new tyres<br /> <br /> Not the best pics as I’ve had to crop them. Rears stick out nicely, fronts even though they’re wider, I still think look lost in the arches. Not a fan of the front arches as they are, but I may install some 12mm spacers to the front end <br /> <br /> <br /> <a href="https://forums.mbclub.co.uk/attachments/6c18434f-107f-4962-9fff-330a343a12e5-jpeg.91348/" target="_blank"><img src="https://forums.mbclub.co.uk/data/attachments/64/64947-6674274c07b765d6d4026c181fba0f5e.jpg?hash=ZnQnTAe3Zd" class="bbImage " style="" alt="6C18434F-107F-4962-9FFF-330A343A12E5.jpeg" title="6C18434F-107F-4962-9FFF-330A343A12E5.jpeg" width="400" height="400" loading="lazy" /></a> <a href="https://forums.mbclub.co.uk/attachments/bf356178-3638-4635-bdf1-c6999d5f56e3-jpeg.91349/" target="_blank"><img src="https://forums.mbclub.co.uk/data/attachments/64/64948-189ec6218bdb53608fd659726c5849d0.jpg?hash=GJ7GIYvbU2" class="bbImage " style="" alt="BF356178-3638-4635-BDF1-C6999D5F56E3.jpeg" title="BF356178-3638-4635-BDF1-C6999D5F56E3.jpeg" width="400" height="400" loading="lazy" /></a> <a href="https://forums.mbclub.co.uk/attachments/fcda840f-1763-4788-a329-cb4f46f0e158-jpeg.91350/" target="_blank"><img src="https://forums.mbclub.co.uk/data/attachments/64/64949-bd353e07f9603af350568470bf785351.jpg?hash=vTU-B_lgOv" class="bbImage " style="" alt="FCDA840F-1763-4788-A329-CB4F46F0E158.jpeg" title="FCDA840F-1763-4788-A329-CB4F46F0E158.jpeg" width="400" height="400" loading="lazy" /></a></div>
