Hi all, I'm " mo-benz"(mo)new to this membership stuff & forums .
I have gone and bought 2011 c63amg ppp, LSD , black on calcite white(22k). I just collected it from dealer. I used to own an rs4 b7 & px for this , must say its the best car iv owned so far, power, luxury. Right ok I don't want to bore you anymore,I just wanted to ask what does one have to do if the " check oil level at next refuel"?, does that mean it will need filling or just a visual ?iv had car 2 days and have to surrender to the fact that I have been planting my heavy right everytime I got into it and find it highly addictive!!.

Welcome and nice choice. Sounds like it needs a top up.

You could try dipping the oil :dk:I've asked at the dealers about it, because mine was on the lower level on the dipstick, (although no message on the display) and was told its was ok and there is only a small amount (I'm afraid I dont remember how much) between lower and upper mark.
Sorry, should have said welcome first. Also forgot to say that the Tech at Mercedes did say that you need to keep an eye on the oil level but I think that may be only for a short(ish) initial period. As Bobby Dazzler said sounds like it just needs a bit and, hopefully, it will be ok.

Yes thanks mr dazzler , It did cross my mind about the oil topping up, the oil to use would be judging by most forum topics here is mobil1 5w-40 I guess. That is all for now, I will keep in touch.

Do take care not to overfill - better be a little low than a little high.
