C63s facelift grill

Looking to change the front grill on my C63s to the new facelift grill. Anyone here done so already?
Seen few on eBay for around 300 400 quid.

Yes, see my thread for details. Swop is perfectly achievable but is alot of work including removing bumper. Grill is £380 ish iirc but you also need the star and this is £180 ish from MB unless you can find second hand. If you’re swopping it out you may aswell do the lower grills also.

Not sure If the 3 above comments are meant to be particularly condensing or just read that way but either way ignore and do what you want.

Have you tried holding it? It's not as nice as the pre facelift 205 wheel in my opinion. I have put a 205 wheel in my 204 as it's fractionally smaller and has nicer paddles.

There is a company in Watford who can supply & fit OEM grill for £527.34 in VAT, fitting charge seems very reasonable if the installation isn't an easy DIY job.

I havent tried it , it is heavily button laden , that's for sure. I'm waiting for an opportunity to spend some time at mb world brooklands in the facelift but doesnt look like that will happen anytime soon though.

good decision swapping the 205 wheel into the 204...

See what you think but it's not the buttons causing the issue, just the shape and sculpture of it. All subjective of course.

more importantly, how are you finding the merc to drive and which m3 model did it replace ? always nice to see what owners of the different brands think of how the different cars drive etc
