C63s with all the goodies...

Could i grab your opinion guys...

My mate buys cars from the BCA and seen a Porshce...but its 7 years old and still 85k cos it's the 911 gt3 pdk coupe.

P9 WJB reg, 12k miles, 3 owners. 2014.

They seem to be going for 100k plus on autotrader, so my thoughts we're to get it for 85k ish...run it for 6 months and i'll fetch more for it than what i paid for it so will cost me very little.
I buy quite a few cars from auctions, but I would NEVER buy one from BCA.

Yeah my mate said need to get them checked over, he spends millions a year with them currently.
As long as you go in with your eyes open and thoroughly check, fair enough. There are bargains to be had. There are also absolute shockers on a regular basis.
If you're confident in the car and the market, go for it, why not?
Sounds like you/ your mate know what you're doing.
There's always risk, but it's calculated risk.

of course, i'd try and get down or get someone down to fully check the car over.

I just think with that low mileage in 6 months i'd be shocked if i can't sell on for a profit

Patience is usually the key. I don't buy cars of such high value as that from auction, but I find that the ones I buy to keep for a bit and sell on usually sell for close to the price I want if I'm prepared to be patient.
That's a niche car, but a desirable one...

BCA have quite a bad rep as above be prepared to wait for the right 1 preferably NOT from auction if its really cheap there will be people with deep pockets going for it (auction fever is horrible after the hammer goes down)😢

Yeah, i hate the way you can't see the full specification of the car. I'd have to go down or get the VIN number to check.

Some places now you can't even view the cars beforehand like of old plus with cars of that value the end buyer probably has already bought it NO aution is legitimate

Yeah i'm hoping cos my mate buys millions through them and works with them on a few they'll allow him cos it could be a bargain if it's all straight other than some cosmetic work. I'd be gutted to get it, take it somewhere to get it checked and be loads of issues. Can tell it has the chrono pack cos of the speedo in the middle of the dash

There are still some good ones about. Interestingly covid has really differentiated the good from the bad; some hiding behind the inability to view live, whilst others produce thorough reports on the cars, which is much more than you would have got pre covid.

Has the carbon ceramics too can tell that, i'll do some digging cos 86k ish would be good value. Needs 2-3k on it exterior wise probs to get it spot on. But be 100k+ value

Sorry to damper the party I hope its fine and you get it but if you have this plan others will definitely have it and be happier with a smaller profit margin 25k profit doesn't happen very often 😀
Keep us informed 👍

noo i know, i'm more hoping i can own it 6 months or so and sell it and not lose a penny on it overall, maybe make a few k. But i know there's 2-3k to spend on paintwork i'd say too

Nice cars like that don't usually end up in auctions like BCA unless there's something wrong with them. Otherwise, traders would keep them in the loop and take the profit you're hoping to make.

yeah, it's just something about a GT3....the noise and it'd be used more weekends/nice weather days wouldn't be a daily. Slight contradiction though for sure...ha
I agree. That Porsche looks 😍 and definitely more rare and a bigger headturner than the C63s.

good luck. 👍

And GT3s hold their value extremely well!
