Can speed limiter be removed on my S65AMG W221?

I was wondering, can the speed limiter be removed on my car? [ S65AMG W221 model ]
I don't want to remap the car, I just want the limiter removed.

If it can be done, wo can do this for me?
Anyone around London area?

A friend of mine has STAR. I'll ask him to plug the car in and see if I can increase the limiter to 186MPH. I'd be happy with that.
My S63 is limited to 186mph as the car is the Performance pack. I don't know why they didn't do the same to my S65.

I'm planning on doing a Europe trip and thought if I go with the S65, it would be nice if the car is not limited to 155mph

Hitting the pedal above 155 I would imagine really gives me the willys. I've done the odd Euro trip and knocked into the odd 130s and 140s in very quiet traffic conditions, and not for very long as I've thought eff me. If any one of these numpties on the road does something stupid, it could go wrong fast.

Yes - my car has the 'AMG Drivers Pack' which raises the limit to 186mph.

I went to Germany last year and had an M4 competition pack and an 850i as a rental. They both hit 155mph so quick and easy, I felt like it wasn’t fast enough ….. I have a video but I don’t know how to post it
It’s more about knowing it can go faster than 155mph, not that I’ll be hitting 200mph in the S65

I also think they are more aware of people going very fast and do tend to stay on the right and not block people that want to go faster unlike we see here in the uk some people doing 60 on a 70mph and blocking everyone from being able to overtake

When I was flat out at about 175 on the autobahn on my bike I was flashed to move over by an elderly lady in her mint green Ruff tuned 911 turbo! We played cat and mouse for a while until a big enough gap opened up.... then she f'ed off into the distance!

175 in a car is OK; on a bike a crowbar would be needed to break the suction on the seat when I stopped...

Just thought I’d update this thread by saying that the speed limiter has been increased to 186 mph now ( 300kph ).
It says ( 300kph, black series XXX km/h )

My good friend plugged the car in. He has STAR and within 5 mins he found the limiter. It was set at 250kph.
It gave us three options, 250kph, 270kph and 300kph.

If anyone would like to get this done to their car and wants know how it was done step by step, just let me know and we’ll plug the car into the computer again and I can take pics and post them here

At 186mph in the W204 ppp you certainly can see the fuel gauge move .
I plugged my brothers campervan in and altered his speed limiter quite straight forward (but it was a fiat decato)
